Talking To Trees is an Online Designer Luxury Meditative Crafts Store, dedicated to offering creative individuals with high-quality and fashion-forward crafting kits and accessories. With a focus on accessibility, learning, and exceptional customer experience, we aim to establish ourselves as a premier destination for crafting and knitwear enthusiasts seeking unique and trend-setting projects, that can be meditative and enjoyable while making highly-wearable and luxuriously comfortable final products. 

All Collections are fully designed and created by Emily Francis. Emily has been working in the NYC Fashion Industry for 10 years. She is a graduate of Parson’s The New School of Design.

Emily also has an extensive resume in early education. She has held positions as a Teacher’s Assistant, a Design and Sewing Teacher for Children's and Pre-college programs, as well as over a decade of coaching figure skating to all levels and ages. She is extremely adept and talented at taking difficult and often frustrating endeavors, and presenting them in digestable and understandable ways.

Emily is seeking to combine her expertise in knitwear and education to elevate the knitting process and help people learn to make knitwear that doesn’t just look like a craft-store project. Talking to Trees is the learning resource for people who want to see results they are proud of.
